About Us
Meet Your Outfitter
My name is George. I grew up on our family farm in Norfolk, where I picked up fieldcraft from an early age - first with an air rifle, then a .243, and eventually stalking deer across some of the best ground in the country.
After graduating from Durham University, I spent six years in London as a management consultant. It wasn't for me. I packed up and moved to the Outer Hebrides to work as a professional deer stalker and fishing ghillie at Amhuinnsuidhe Castle Estate. That's where I discovered how much I enjoyed guiding - watching a guest take their first Highland stag, or land a salmon they'd remember for twenty years.
I founded Griffin Sporting Club to share the best of British fieldsports with visiting hunters, delivered with care and in the traditional manner.
